This catalog is divided into two sections: in the first, the authors and titles in the library's holdings are listed alphabetically. In the second section, titles are listed in sequence under subject headings. The library has books on subjects that include: properties of materials, historic and contemporary techniques of construction of works of art. The library also has several hundred 18th and 19th century artists' manuals and chemical formularies, sample pattern books, conference papers, and paper specimens that are catalogued and described. -- AATA
