Abstract
The paper outlines problems of stone conservation and consolidation with regard to the specific situation in Hungary and reports results achieved by the ZKF procedure (which employs a plastic resin composition in xylol) to be encouraging. Laboratory testing on Soskut limestone is reported in brief. ZKF can also be used in making artificial stone for use in replacement.
