Abstract
The ability of acrylic polymers and copolymers (solutions Paraloid B-72, Lak KP 709, and water dispersion Primal AC 33 and Sokrat 2802 AS) to consolidate samples of impaired plaster was studied. Semi-empirical equations were derived to describe the experimental relationship of the penetration depth to the amount of consolidant concentration. Changes in the tensile strength of the plaster samples were measured.
