A study of the papers used by Rembrandt with a special focus on those used during the period 1640 to 1660 and their watermarks. Includes prints in public and private collections. Some watermarks were found to correspond with those on accepted Rembrandt drawings. The watermarks, the etched subjects, and their states are collated and presented in a table. A discussion of the probable places of manufacture of the paper is included. -- AATA
