Abstract
The paper summarizes the main properties of artificial sandstone bound with white cement. Mechanical properties (compression strength) and workability were studied according to the proportions sand-cement-water and the grain size of sand. The mixture containing 30% weight of cement and 9% weight of water gives the best results.
