For the purposes of investigating the precipitation processes in an alloy of iron containing gold, the change of lattice, electrical resistance, hardness, and structure were determined after homogenizing, quenching in water, and aging. The results of these measurements were compared with findings obtained on thin foil of the alloy in the electron microscope.
