Abstract
Results are reported of the study of 248 bone remains found in the sondage in Gospodska pecina in the vicinity of the Cetina Spring. The remains were found at depths ranging from 10 to 85 cm from the surface. A breakdown of findings by the kind of bone, the species of animal to which it belonged, and the depth at which it was found is given. Results of bone measurements are also published. The majority of remains are bone remains of domestic animals, i. e., sheep and cattle. Remains of deer, dogs, foxes, rabbits, birds, badgers, roebucks and wild boars were also found. Findings indicate that the inhabitants of Gospodska pecina engaged in animal husbandry, but occasionally hunted. -- AATA
