In the series of annual publications these issues deal with the multidisciplinary studies on the objects found in the excavations being carried out in the different parts of the country under the various dynastic phases. The discoveries and findings on Indian archaeology are achieved on the following disciplines: i. Explorations and excavations: deals with the name of sites and results achieved. ii. Epigraphy: Sanskrit and Dravedic inscriptions; Arabic and Persian inscriptions. iii. Numismatic and treasure trove. iv. Other important discoveries: like tools, pottery, sculptures and other aspects not covered in other sections of the study. v. Radiocarbon dates: of each excavated object. vi. Palaeobotanical and pollen analytical investigations: vii. Museums: gives information about a particular excavated object after treatment when placed in a particular museum for display. viii. Architectural survey of the temples: the Archeological Survey of India carries out an Ancient Temple Survey Project. Various aspects of the temples are explained. ix. Preservation of monuments: report on the regular process of maintenance and preservation of monuments of national importance is given. x. Archaeological chemistry: contains information about the method of chemical treatment of monuments and paintings inside these. xi. Archaeological gardens: contains information about gardening in the archaeological areas. -- AATA
