Abstract
Traditional Latin American architecture shows local characteristics typical of each country alongside structural similarities which go back to Spanish colonization: the authors of these articles describe the main features of this type of architecture in order to develop a common policy for conservation of traditional heritage. There are also short monographs on Columbian and Mexican vernacular architecture, as well as an article on the open air museums of Mexico.
