On the monument with the equestrian statue of King Frederick V in Amalienborg Square, Copenhagen, executed by Jacques-François-Joseph Saly that was cast by Pierre Gor in 1768, and unveiled in 1771. Describes the preservation of the bronze statue, the marble and sandstone pedestal, and the surrounding pavement and wrought-iron fence. History of the execution of the monument and the restorations during the years is given on the basis of research in the archives. -- AATA
