The article describes dyeing and weaving techniques of the Mossi and of the Yarsi, a group of Islamic craftsmen who were invited to come and work for the Mossi, stayed, and intermarried. Mossi cotton has been traded for in Africa since at least the mid 19th century. -- AATA
