Two new parameters, ahrasion life and abrasion elongation, were used to evaluate the relationship between shrinkage behavior and the abrasion life of sized warp yarns that have been scoured and bleached. Data were taken on yarns from several mills using a modified Hiruta's abrasion tester. -- AATA
