The optical properties of silk-like synthetic fiber fabrics have been studied and compared with natural silk fibers. It was found that the difference in optical properties of silk-like and natural silk fabrics can be distinguished by comparing their reflected light distribution curves and quantity of reflection obtained by revolving specimens. Differences in diffused reflected light, specular reflected light, and luster are also discussed. -- AATA
