Abstract
Analytical methods developed for determining cationic surfactants in solution and in wool are described. These methods were used to study the sorption of representative cationic surfactants including sodium lauryl sulfate and the stability of these agents to rinsing. The effects of the sorbed surfactants on dyeing and insect proofing treatments for wool were examined. -- AATA
