The treatment of Ercole de Roberti's Last Supper is described. The cradled panel was extensively restored in the past and the restorations had discoloured. The examination and subsequent treatment revealed information contributing to the attribution of the panel and confirmed the original purpose of the pieces as a tabernacle door.
