Abstract
The bow, quiver and arrows were found in extremely poor condition under the ruins of the Esterhazy Palace, which had been bombarded during World War II. In the course of the restoration, tendon, keratoid, wood, leather, textile, metal, and feathers were treated. The replacement of the missing piece of the quiver was a complicated task, since it was made of ox-hide, combined with textile that was decorated with metal thread embroidery. The leather parts needed special treatment as well. See also AATA 22-399 for reference to book.
