Abstract
This report of the symposium on Mortars, Cements and Grouts used in the Conservation of Historic Buildings (see <i>AATA </i><b>19-1792* 1 for proceedings of conference) categorizes the 26 papers presented under five headings: 1) Plasters for wall repairs, the filling of holes and repairs to buildings. 2) Consolidants and injections for strengthening old buildings. 3) Portland cement and special cements and their application in conservation. 4) The use of artificial resins in plasters and consolidants. 5) The investigation and analysis of ancient mortars and plasters.
