Abstract
Discusses the surface treatment of coins (silver, copper, nickel, zinc, brass) after taking out corrosion products, by using the water soluble lacquer EPAK Q (produced by Chemolak, n.e., Smolenice, Czechoslovakia). This product contains a corrosion inhibitor Quatro N (Czech Patent 243 668) at normal temperature and at 150-170° C. The anticorrosion efficiency of the treatment is presented.
