The calculation methods for the energy demands due to winter heating, DHW production and lighting have been analyzed, with reference to the European technical standards which have been acknowledged in Italy. For each energy demand, the respective performance indicator has been studied according to the variations of different significant parameters. The evaluations of the performance indicators and of the energy labels have been developed for a typical unit of a multistorey building, for which different uses have been considered: residential use and office use.
