Abstract
Study of a method that improves the durability of polymers used in conservation. The effectiveness of polymers with bound stabilization is experimentally reported. An optimum concentration of stabilizers was found. Its presence did not change the mechanism of degradation. The use of gel permeation chromatography to obtain molecular size information was found a valuable tool.
