Describes the process whereby textile installation was devised and carried out based upon the exchange of information and cooperation of all museum staff concerned. An inexpensive system of textile exhibition was devised meeting the criteria of the curator, conservator, designer, and builder. Discussed are the problems of light, dust, changes in temperature and humidity, air pollutants, and physical stress. To minimize stress a method of vertical display at a five-degree slope within a plexiglass cabinet was devised.
