Report on the reconstruction of damaged statues of the Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers in Ljubljana, the work of the 18th-century sculptor Francesco Robba. In 1983 cleaning of the fountain was carried out, with air abrasion chosen as the most suitable method. Before cleaning, the surface was consolidated using a product which contains ethyl ester of the silicic acid and which has hydrophobizing properties (because of the presence of silicone).
