Abstract
In central Europe, stone tools made of a peculiar type of a hornblende schist have been found petrographic analysis revealed that the schist occurs in the western Carpathians and the Balkan mountains. From there, the tools were transported on trade routes to the west and the north over distances of more than 700 kilometers. -- AATA
