Abstract
Fourteen pieces of obsidan were found at the Neolithic site Tepe Abdul Hosein in western Iran. Neutron activation analysis of 12 of these indicates that 11 of them came from the Nemrut Dagh Mountains of Anatolia. The twelfth piece is compared with an archaeological group from Hazorea, whose source is unknown.
