Abstract
A simplified colorimetric method for determination of mercury by the dithizone method has been developed. The procedure is suitable for analyzing biological and certain mineral samples for their mercury content. Amounts of mercury between 10 and 100 mcg. have been analyzed with a maximum deviation of ± 5per cent. The procedure has been simplified wherever possible to do so without sacrificing accuracy.
