Abstract
Insects that destroy wooden objects are nearly all anobid, lyctid or cerambycid beetles. Various working formulas employing Cub>6Hub>4Club>2, ClCub>6Hub>4OH, DDT and rotenone in xylene, benzene, toluene, and white spirit are given. They can be injected into wood sculptures, wainscoting and choir stalls, and they will not harm painted surfaces.
