The authors performed measurements of chemical, mechanical and biological resistance on paper either deacidified, non-deacidified, or laminated, treated with either one of the following fungicides: Thymol mixed with mercuric chloride Sodium pentachloro phenate Sodium salt of 2,2 methylene his 4 chlorophenol. The results evidenced the effectiveness of the fungicides and some interesting data on the effect of fungicides, deacidification, and lamination on paper.
