Notes on museum wooden ethnographic collections in Serbia and Macedonia (Yugoslavia). The types of obejcts found in the museums of Novi Sad, Sombor, Belgrad, Nis and Skopje are briefly described. Indications are given on the methods and products used by each museum for conservation; for example for disinfection, formaline with gelatine are used in Belgrade, parafine and petrol in Nis, parafine and benzene in Sombor, benzene and paradichlorobenzene in Novi Sad. Other details on conservation criteria are given.
