Abstract
The deterioration of archival and library material in Poland, by microorganisms isolated and identified on paper, leather, wax-seals etc. For the disinfection, thymol vapours are used and for the prevention the following fungicides are suggested: p-chloro-m-cresol, o-pheny-phenol.
