Although still in the incipient stages, the classification and analysis of material obtained during the salvage work connected with the Mexico City Metro is producing some interesting facts. Archives reveal huge amounts of ceramics being shipped to Mexico, but with little detail. With the archaeological work now in progress, categorizing, and comparing, conclusions are being reached about possible sources of manufacture. -- AATA
