A long appendix to this article by Maria Dekowna describes the spectro graphic analysis of three of the beads. This showed they were of the sodium-calcium-aluminum silica type. Two of the beads found in Egypt and Wales had very similar compositions, suggesting they were made in the same factory. -- AATA
