Abstract
The local way of making pottery has not been influenced by outside methods. No tempering material is added to the clay. The whole hunk of clay is shaped like the pot, and the neck is scooped out. After drying partially the inside is scooped out with a blade made of the outer rind of green bamboo. The inside and outside are polished with a quartz pebble. The pots are dried ten days before firing. The firing is described. -- AATA
