Because of the difficulty of obtaining honeycomb and other commercial lightweight panelling in Mexico, a new method was developed for provoiding support, in the case illustrated here with 9 photographs, to a pre-Columbian wall painting. The requirements of stability, resistance to deterioration, reversibility and ease of application are met by a mixture of expanded polystyrene beads of varioius sizes, in an epoxy resin. The proportions of beads to resin, bead size, isolating layers, and technique of application are included. -- AATA
