This article describes attempts made to try and develop a method of systematic analysis of the impurities contained in nuclear graphites. Hitherto, impurities were determined from one sample. A method of systematic analysis has been developed making it possible to determine about twenty impurities in one sample. Methods used to determine the rare earths are mentioned briefly, as well as the elements which can be determined without chemical separation: chlorine, manganese, vanadium.
