Abstract
The National Archives and Records Service is behind in scheduling and accessioning the machine-readable records. Problems of inspection and obsolescence have resulted in a draft on Strategic Technology Considerations Relative to the Preservation and Storage of Human and Machine Readable Records. The direction of this study is that a preservation and storage strategy should be based upon human-readable microfilm. The system is explained; access to materials would be via CRT terminal or paper copy. -- AATA
