Abstract
Monomer polymerization in mixtures of solvents for porous stone consolidation: discussion of test results. The influence of impregnation conditions on the course and efficiency of polymerization and on the distribution of polymers in the structure of consolidated stone. Physico-mechanical properties of consolidated stone. Results showed that stone consolidation by monomer polymerization in the solutions can be applied only for small objects which permit quick impregnation by complete dipping or undervacuum.
