Patina layers on copper alloy archaeological artifacts were investigated. Alloying elements were generally enriched in the patina layers. The behavior was observed especially for As, pb, Sn, and Sb. In the case of brazed joints composition of the patina was sometimes different in each piece due to electrochemical action. -- AATA
