Techniques for dyeing with common garden herbs, including sage, tansey, agrimony, chamomile, rosemary, lavender, savory, rue, oregano, and fever-few, are described. Mordants used were alum, tin, copper, chrome, and iron. A procedure for light testing the resulting yarn colors to determine their longevity is also described. -- AATA
