The deterioration of three fabrics used for uniforms was investigated by determining changes in tensile and tear strengths and abrasion after repeated launderings. The loss of tensile strength was correlated with the number of washings, and it was also found that the polyester/cotton blend was superior to the polyester/viscose blend tested. -- AATA
