Abstract
A brief survey of published literature on the use of light bleaching for removing stains from paper. Also gives detailed tests undertaken and conclude that maximum effect was obtained after two hours and that extended immersion did not lighten the paper any more. Dilute calcium hydroxide was used as the bleaching medium. Tables, graphs, histograms, references.
