Abstract
Changes of free surface energy and adhesion for adhesive glue acrylic resin of polyethylene film after the treatment of low temperature plasma in air, argon and nitrogen were presented. Polar component of surface energy increases from 0 for initial polyethylene film to 16.5-35 mN/m after the treatment of low temperature plasma, according to treatment conditions. In consequence the increase of polyethylene film polarity after LTP treatment gives the increase of wettability of adhesive acrylic glues and the increase of the adhesion of films to these glues. The glues contact angles on modified films were given. The small decrease of modification effect during film storing was found. Moreover, mechanical properties of film after plasma treatment were tested and small changes, practically in the error limit were found.
