Abstract
Twenty-one trace elements in fifty-eight specimens of modern and old samples of Japanese paper (washi) and paper samples of western origin were determined. Two-dimensional correla-tion diagrams for specific pairs of elements, i.e., aluminum/calcium and aluminum/manganese rations, were used in the analysis of the data. The raw material of the plant affects the aluminum/ manganese ratio. See also 16-340 and 18-124. -- AATA
