Abstract
The influence of property characteristics on the deformation of polyolefine injection mouldings and the brittleness of such mouldings in the region of the sprue is discussed. A general evaluation of the influence of such properties as rigidity, heat resistance, tendency to oxidation and stress cracking enables a much better picture to be obtained of the characteristics of polyolefine injection moulding compounds.
