Examination of property changes of polymers SVED, PFE 2/10, VA-2EGA, and phtorlon 6H during artificial aging and the polymers' effects on parchment are given. Also described are the stabilization of the paint layer of miniatures, the flattening of parchment and the production of two bindings for West European manuscripts from the Library of the Academy of Sciences, Leningrad, a thirteenth century Psalter (ON106) and a fifteenth century Book of Hours (ON254). -- AATA
