Abstract
Three prints by Whistler on exceptionally fine Japanese tissues were removed from pulpboard mounts, treated with enzymes and dried using friction drying. The detailed report on the products and methods used in enzyme removal of the starch adhesive residues includes discussion of the procedure for successful drying of troublesome Japanese tissues.
