Abstract
In Septeniber of 1966 two Late Classical graves were accidentaily discovered in the vicinity of Ãakovo. The graves were built of brick and represent typical examples of Roman sepulchral architecture. However, two niches built into the longer walls in each grave are unique to this type of grave, and it is suggested that this plan is of religious significance. Grave goods are numerous and varied: pottery, glass vessels and bottles, iron box fasteners, mirror with an iron frame, bracelets, rings, earrings and coins. The graves date to the second third of the 4th century A.D. -- AATA
