Abstract
Describes the conservation techniques used on a Lloyds Bank building in Cirencester. The building has original Cotswold stone which has been rendered. The face was redressed to the original stone using a specially constructed machine which locks into the scaffolding and is fitted with an electroplated diamond-faced grinding disc. Some stone replacement was made.
