Abstract
The paper deals with the organization of the records of the Rhodesian Archaeological Survey with those of the National Museum, Bulawayo, the Queen Victoria Museum, Salisbury and the Umtali Museum. Copies of the record cards used by the Survey were used by the museums to connect with their own collections and each museum now holds a full record of all the collections in Rhodesia. Material was boxed and labelled according to the system used on the cards. A modular system of boxing was adopted within which labelled objects are stored in labelled plastic bags. Boxes are stored in geographical map order. All marking is done centrally at Bulawayo. -- AATA
