Computer simulations of die-linking were carried out. Program operation is described. An equation is presented and tested for calculating the approximate number of obverse or reverse dies used for a particular issue. It is shown that the equation is still valid even when die life varies considerably. The simulation is developed further to estimate the average lifetime of dies. -- AATA
