Abstract
A method is described which allows three-dimensional curved solids of revolution to be drawn on the screen of a graphics terminal and thereby stored in a computer file. Effort has been concentrated on providing a package intended for use in archaeology, and a program developed to allow drawings of pottery profiles to be stored compactly in computer accessible form. See also AATA 15-1163 for another study of computer applications in archaeology. -- AATA
